Every church that we go into I always light a candle for my Mom who passed away two years ago and say a little prayer. This one was at the Duomo. Can you even SEE the size of those pillars! There are 52 of them to mark 52 weeks in a year. Our tour guide (who looked like she'd have gone to Marquette High School by the way)- said that the church was the third largest in Europe. The other picture is from the church of the painting of the Last Supper.
