Carol interestingly, however, discovered this other market behind the one full of stuff for tourists. The closest thing we've found that it was similar to in the US is Pikes Market in Seattle. It was filled with locals buying meats, cheeses, flowers, and on and on and on. There was such a bustle of activity and Italian language flying around- it was neat to see.
