After the Papal audience, we went around the back of Vatican City to go to the Vatican Museum. It’s the only way to get to see the Sistine Chapel. And boy do they make you pay (in waiting) and walking and walking and walking. As you can imagine there are some pretty tremendous pieces of art there--- and fortunately for both of us, we are sort of the same when we go through fine art museums- we go at a very quick pace. Still some pieces caught my eye and here they are.
