OLD TOWN INNSBRUCK

Europe is so amazing that you can wake up in Salzburg, have breakfast, chase down your luggage and yet be checked into your new hotel room by 11am- so after a requisite rest we set out to explore the old town of Innsbruck. Believe it or not, this Chinese looking roof is the biggest tourist attraction in Innsbruck- its known as the Golden Roof- (and its actually made of copper)- Emperor Maximillian I had it made apparently years ago as a place for him to come out and be fawned over.

Much more charming in the old town was the rest of the setting- that just seemed to be a cross between Bavarian and Dutch to me.
