So of course my first retail quest was to find my favorite Christmas store where I went a little nuts last year- it took about an hour- but we found it! And I'm happy to say it was as enchanting this year as it was last- These are a couple of pictures from their showcase. Fortunately this place ships because we have no room to carry anything- and three of the things we bought are the hand-painted ornaments. A woman in Germany paints them- they are painted on the front of a round flat orb- and then back painted also- so that the entire effect is 3-D.
