RALFs CAR

So if we ever feel like average Joes in the US (which we do a lot) here's our world over here. We went to dinner tonight with my department head here (Fredericka) and her husband Ralf along with the other faculty from the accounting department. Real nice Italian (and I mean authentic Italian) place right near campus- When we met Fredericka last year she had become the department head of Accounting- but since last year she has also become the Associate Rector for Research of the entire university. That's the equivalent to being the VP and Provost of one of our universities- major importance. And Ralf is the CFO of BMW for all of Austria- they are both German. Well this is Ralph's newest BMW-X6. What a beautiful car. He opened it up for us to see it tonight- Carol got it out of him- his cost as a BMW top executive would be about 100,000 Euros (about $120,000)- Imagine our cost- I offered him $15,000 USD. He laughed heartily- so I'm still driving the Jeep :)
