Of course everyone knows, that around ever corner in Europe there seems to be another beautiful church or cathedral. Of course St. Veit was no exception. And some of them are so unassuming from the outside- This one was built around 1300. I think taking about 10 days off our church tours got us to appreciate again the beauty and history of these structures.

ST. VEIT BASCILLICA
Of course everyone knows, that around ever corner in Europe there seems to be another beautiful church or cathedral. Of course St. Veit was no exception. And some of them are so unassuming from the outside- This one was built around 1300. I think taking about 10 days off our church tours got us to appreciate again the beauty and history of these structures.

Just remember, some poor peasant had to build those churches for the monarchy. Those poor peasants were our ancestors! (or at least mine)
