Ultimately we made it back to Krumpendorf in plenty of time to stop at the Penny Market and pick up enough groceries for tonight. We’re very European that way, only buying enough chocolate (I mean FOOD) for the evening- look at this grocery store—and this is one of the bigger ones- I mean some of those that we were in in Italy were UNREAL with their tiny aisles- you stop and think about shopping in a HyVee or Kroger, etc etc. and you think- why do I need all these choices? That I like about this store, you want chicken? There- there’s two packs of chicken, you want one, buy it- if not don’t.
