FACULTY FRIENDS

This is a picture of my department head (Friederike Wall) and her husband (Ralf)- since I was in Klagenfurt last year, she has also become the Vice Rector (Vice-President) for Research at The University of Klagenfurt and her husband is CFO of BMW for Austria- (yeah- they run in a different world than we do) but couldn't be any nicer.

The second shot is off the three female professors who have become my friends; Friederike is one of them of course, and then the younger one with the reddish hair is Alexandre who is an Assistant Professor at the University of Klagenfurt. She was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO wonderful to me last year when I was first teaching in Klagenfurt-

The third (short blonde hair) is named Dorothea and she is a Full Professor and Department Head of Accounting at The University of Linz in Linz, Austria. She actually invited Carol and I to come visit her while we are in Klagenfurt and I had already found a bus that did a day trip over there, so you may be seeing more of her in this blog before the summer is out :)
